MBBS Overview

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery):

• Approved by Ministry of Education of China
• Length of Schooling: 6 years, including 5 years of academic study and 1 year of internship)
• Over 55 compulsory courses and over 7 optional courses
• Knowledgeable and responsible teaching staff
• School usually begins in early October

Eligibility of MBBS in Chongqing Medical University

• In principle, applicants should be over the age of 18 and under the age of 30.
• Applicants must be both mentally and physically.
• Applicant should have got the senior school certificate.
• The applicants for MBBS program whose secondary education was NOT conducted in English need to provide an English level certificate or take an English exam organized by CQMU.

• Completed Application Form for Foreigners to Study in Chongqing Medical University
• Foreigner Physical Examination Form
• Non-Criminal Record issued by the police
• High school leaving/studying certificate, academic transcripts of high school, character certificate
